Salah; First and Last Recommendation of Divine Prophets

TEHRAN (IQNA) – When the last moments of Imam Sadiq’s (AS) life came, he opened his eyes and called for all of his relatives to gather around him.

Then, Imam Sadiq (AS) said: “Our intercession will not reach those who consider prayer light (insignificant).”

It is said in Hadiths that when someone wants to recognize his status before God, he should see what God’s status for him is. If Salah and other divine orders are dear and important for you, then you also have a respected status before God.

And in order to find out whether your Salah is accepted by God, you should see whether it prevents you from decadence and sins.

According to Hadiths, the first thing one is asked about on the Resurrection Day is Salah. It is natural because Salah is the first Wajib (obligatory act) that comes before other Wajibs such as fasting, Hajj, Jihad, Zakat, etc.
